Six months to this day..

Allison and I have been officially together. Considering our history and past, it feels like it’s been so much longer. Six months may not seem like a lot of time, which I agree - it really isn’t. However, the reason why I am so amazed and ecstatic about it is because it signifies the day that we were finally able to realize what we both had wanted for so long.

Allison and I have known each other for quite a while, going on four years now. Although we may have only been dating for six months of that time - I feel like my heart has been hers the entire time. And her’s mine.

It’s just so crazy to have longed for someone so much and for so long, never thinking that the day would come where the ability to be together would actually happen. But it has. And for six months now. And I can only hope that it will continue on until the three and a half years we waited seems like a mere speck to how long we’ve been intertwined.

By far, the days together will outnumber the days in between.

  2. ashskeleton said: Happy 6 months! It always feels like Michael and I have been together forever even though it’s only been like 2.5/5 years. We still go out every month to celebrate, just because we can. There is something special about dating your best friend. :)
